- Normalized (+N) and Normalized and tempered (+NT640): Austenitized at 880-930°C and austenitized at 770-830°C, air cooled. Tempered at 540-600°C, air cooled or water quenched
Quenched and tempered (+QT640): Austenitized at 770-830°C, water or oil quenched. Tempered at 540-600°C, air cooled or water quenched
Quenched and tempered (+QT680): Austenitized at 770-830°C, water or oil quenched. Tempered at 540-600°C, air cooled or water quenched - Double normalizing (N+N+T): 880-930°C, air cool and 770-820°C, air cool; Tempering: 540-660°C, air cool or water quench; Quenching (Q+T): 740-820°C, water or oil quench; Tempering: 540-600°C, air cool or water quench.
