- +NT640 (+N plus +NT): Austenitizing at 880 to 930°C + 770 to 830°C, air cooling; Tempering at 540 to 600°C, air or water cooling.
+QT640 (+QT): Austenitizing at 770 to 830°C, water or oil cooling; Tempering at 540 to 600°C, air or water cooling.
+QT 680 (+QT): Austenitizing at 770 to 830°C, water or oil cooling; Tempering at 540 to 600°C, air or water cooling. (For nominal t < 15 mm, conditions +N plus +NT are also applicable.)
