PROPRIETARY UGIMA 4057 Heat Treatments
- QT800: hardened from 950-1050°C + tempered 750-800°C ( + 650-700°C)
QT900: hardened from 950-1050°C + tempered 600-650°C
Annealed + Softened
Forging: heated slowly to 850°C, then more quickly to 1150/1180°C, forging between 1180°C and 950°C. Forging must be followed by a stress relief heat treatment at 200°C or softening at between 750°C and 850°C or hardening and tempering.
