PROPRIETARY BÖHLER N350 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming: 1100 to 800°C
Annealing: 680 to 800°C
Hardening: 950 to 1050°C, oil, air
Tempering temperature (I): 750 to 800°C + 650 to 700°C; If Ni is at the lower limit of analysis, one tempering at 620 - 720 °C can be sufficient
Tempering temperature (II): 600 to 650°C
Structure after heat treatment:
After annealed: Ferrite + Carbide
After hardened and tempered for good mechanical properties (I) and (II): as tempered structure
