- If the steels are to be annealed, the following treatments are recommended: 650°C to 750°C / air cool. Prior transformation to martensite may be necessary; Annealing or solution treatment temperature 980° to 1030°C, cooling medium; oil, air; Tempering temperature: 600°C to 700°C.
