PROPRIETARY ATI 15-5 Heat Treatments
- Condition A (solution heat treated condition): annealing is conducted by heat treating at approximately 1040°C (1900°F) to 1065°C (1950°F) and cooling to room temperature. To develop further increase in strength, the annealed material is precipitation hardened by heat treatments at 482°C (900°F).
Condition H900: 482°C ± 5 (900°F ± 10), 60 min ± 5 min.
Condition H925: 496°C ± 5 (925°F ± 10), 4 h ± 0.25 h.
Condition H1025: 552°C ± 5 (1025°F ± 10), 4h ± 0.25 h.
Condition H1075: 579°C ± 5 (1075°F ± 10), 4 h ± 0.25 h.
Condition H1100: 593°C ± 5 (1100°F ± 10), 4 h ± 0.25 h.
Condition H1150: 621°C ± 5 (1150°F ± 10), 4 h ± 0.25 h.
