PROPRIETARY CarTech 2205 Stainless Heat Treatments
- Annealing: Heat to 1010-1121°C (1850-2050°F) and rapidly quench in water or air.
Hardening: Cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Can be hardened only by cold working.
Hot working: Heat uniformly to 1093-1149°C (2000-2100°F). Reheat as often as necessary. Cool forgings in air.
