SEW X4CrNiMo165 Heat Treatments
- Annealing: Heated at 600-640°C, air cooled.
Hardening or quenching (V1): Heated at 950-1050°C, air cooled or oil quenched.
Tempering: Heated at 590-620°C for minimum 2 x 4h or minimum 8h. For sheets, minimum 5h.
Hardening or quenching (V2): Heated at 950-1050°C, air cooled or oil quenched.
Tempering: Heated at 560-600°C for minimum 4h.
Hardening or quenching (V3): Heated at 950-1050°C, air cooled or oil quenched.
Tempering: Heated at 500-540°C for minimum 4h. Tempering at 350-400°C is also suitable.
