STAS 30 MoCrNi 20 Heat Treatments
- Hardening in the range 830-860°C, quenching in oil; Tempering in the range 540-680°C, oil cooling.
Temperature of austenitization 850°C.
Hot plastic deformation:
- Forging and hot rolling: 1180-800°C
- Die forging: 1150-900°C.
Annealing in the range 650-670°C, furnace cooling; Normalization in the range 840-870°C, air cooling; Hardening (I) in the range 830-860°C, oil cooling; Tempering in the range 540-680°C, air cooling.
