ISO 31 CrNiMo 8 Heat Treatments
- Oil quenching: 830-860°C (1/2 hour), Tempering: 540-660°C (1 hour).
- TC+TA - cold drawn and annealed to maximum hardness requirements P+TA - peeled and annealed to maximum hardness requirements. G+TA - ground and annealed to maximum hardness requirements. TC+TQ+TT - cold drawn and quenched + tempered. P+TQ+TT - peeled and quenched + tempered. G+TQ+TT - ground and quenched + tempered. Hardening: 830-860°C (1/2 hour), oil quench; Tempering: 540-660°C (min. 1 hour).
