- Annealed: (650-700°C) / furnace. Quenched and tempered or precipitation treated to higher strength: Tempering (830-860°C) / oil; (520-580°C) / air cooling.
- Annealed: (650-700°C) / furnace. Quenched and tempered or precipitation treated to lower strength: Tempering (830-860°C) / oil; (580-650°C) / air cooling. Quenched and tempered or precipitation treated: Tempering (830-860°C) / oil; (550-620°C) / air cooling. Quenched and tempered or precipitation treated to higher strength: Tempering (830-860°C) / oil; (500-580°C) / air cooling.
