ASTM A 369 Grade FP91 Type 1 Heat Treatments
- Normalized and tempered by reheating at 1040-1080°C (1900-1975°F), followed by air cooling and tempering at 730-800°C (1350-1470°F).
Alternative Heat Treatment: Normalized and tempered at a temperature, to be specified by the purchaser, less than 730°C (1350°F). It shall be the purchaser’s responsibility to subsequently temper in the range of 730-800°C (1350-1470°F).
