PN 45 Heat Treatments
- Hardening in hor water or oil 810-830 ºC.
- Wrought steel: Heated at 1100-850°C, softened at 650-700°C and normalized at 840-880°C. Hardened at 820-860°C, center zone cooled in water or oil, than tempered at 550-660°C. These face of test sample hardened in the range of 850°C+/-5.
