PN 40HM Heat Treatments
- Hardening in oil at 840ºC then Tempering in water or oil at 550ºC.
- Hardening in oil at 840ºC then Tempering in water or oil at 550ºC; Hardening temperature: 840°C; Delivery forgings: Heat treated at 1050-850°C: Softening: 680-720°C; Normalizing: 840-880°C; Hardening in water at 820-860°C or in the oil at 830-860°C: Tempering: recommended for dismounted cooling after tempering (oil or water) at 540-680°C.
