PN 25H3M Heat Treatments
- HT1 (Guidelines for softening): Hardening at 880-910°C, cooling in oil, than Tempering at T= 570-700°C, and cooling in oil; HT2 (Guidelines for plastic working): Heated at forging temperature T= 1150-850°C; Softened at T=700-730°C; Normalized at T=880-910°C; Hardened at T=880-910°C and cooled in oil; Tempered at T=570-700°C; Nitriding at 500-520°C.
