ASME SA-453 Grade 662 Class B Heat Treatments
- Solution treatment: heating at 1065 ± 14°C (1950 ± 25°F) for 2 hours and then liquid quench.
Hardening treatment: heating to 730 to 760°C (1350 to 1400°F), hold for 20 hours, furnace cool to 650°C ± 14°C (1200 ± 25°F) and hold for 20 hours and then air cool.
