Heat Treatments
- Normalization at a temperature of 950°C to 1030°C, tempering from 700°C to 750°C with an exposure of 8 for 1-3 hours, cooling in the air. <br/> The normalization of hot-deformed pipes with a diameter of 140 mm or less from deformation heating is allowed, except pipes made from undeformed billet, at the same time the temperature at the end of the deformation should not be lower than the normalization temperature. <br/> The use of accelerated fan or air-cooling cooling is allowed. <br/> For pipes with a wall thickness of 15 mm or more, the use of individual cooling.
- Normalized: 960-980°C, air cooled; tempered: 700-750°C, air cooled.
