- Class 1: Tempered at 500-550°C, quenched at 1000-1050°C (usually air cooled).
Class 2: Tempered at 600-630°C, quenched at 1000-1050°C (usually air cooled).
Class 3: Tempered at 680(+ 550) - 620°C, quenched at 1000-1050°C (usually air cooled). - Heat treatment 1: Air quenched at 1000-1050°C, tempered at 500-550°C;
Heat treatment 2: Air quenched at 1000-1050°C, tempered at 600-630°C;
Heat treatment 3: Air quenched at 1000-1050°C, tempered at 680 + 550-620°C.
