  • Normalized (+N):
    Austenitizing at 830 to 880°C and air cooling.
    Normalized and tempered (+NT):
    Austenitizing at 830 to 880°C and air cooling; Tempering at 580 to 640°C and air or water cooling.
    Quenched and tempered (+QT):
    Austenitizing at 820 to 870°C and water and oil cooling. Tempering at 580 to 640°C and air or water cooling.
  • 1. Normalized (+N): Austenitized or solution annealed at 830 to 880°C and air cooled;
