Heat Treatments
- Hot working (air cooling): 1150-900°C; P1550 - Solution annealing for 10 minutes at 945 to 965°C followed by rapid cooling to less than or equal to 20 C. Cool within 1 hour to - 70°C and hold for 8 hours then reheat in air to +20°C. Finally precipitation harden for 1 hour at 500 to 520°C.
