DIN 1.0427 Heat Treatments
- Normalized at 880-940°C, after reaching the temperature through out the cross-section. Cooled in still air.
Stress relieving: Soaked and held at 520-600°C:
≥ 15 min for t ≤ 15 mm
≥ 30 min for 15 < t ≤ 30 mm
60 min for 30 < t ≤ 150 mm
Cooled in still air.
