GB 12Cr1MoV Heat Treatments
- For wt ≤ 30 mm: Normalizing at 980 - 1020°C, tempering at 720 - 760°C
For wt > 30 mm: Quenching and tempering: Quenching at 950 - 990°C, tempering temperature is 720 - 760°C.
Normalizing and tempering: Normalizing at 980 - 1020°C, rapid cooling and tempering at 720 - 760°C. - Elimination force processing temperature range: 590 - 730°C; For steel tubes with t<=30 mm, normalizing plus tempering: temperature for normalizing is 980°C to 1020°C and for tempering is 720°C - 760°C. For steel tubes with t>30 mm, quenching plus tempering or normalizing plus tempering; temperature for quenching is 950 to 990°C, temperature for tempering is 720 to 760°C, temperature for normalizing is 980°C to 1020°C, temperature for tempering is 720°C to 760°C but steel tubes shall be cooled down rapidly after normalizing.
