PROPRIETARY CarTech Custom Age 725 Alloy Heat Treatments
- Annealing: The recommended annealing temperature is 1038°C (1900°F) followed by air cooling.
Aging: The recommended aging treatment is 732°C (1350°F) for 8 hours, furnace cooled at a rate of 100°C (212°F) to 621°C (1150°F), held for 8 hours, air cooled to room temperature.
Hot working: May be hot worked using a maximum furnace temperature of 1149°C (2100°F).
