ASTM B 637 N07725 Heat Treatments
- Recommended solution treatment: 1038 ± 14°C (1900 ± 25°F), hold 0.5 min, and 4 h max, cool at rate equivalent to air cool.
Precipitation hardening treatment: 732 ± 14°C (1350 ± 25°F), hold at temperature for 5 - 8.5 h, furnace cool to 621 ± 14°C (1150 ± 25°F), hold at temperature for 5 to 8.5 h, air cool or faster.
