ASTM B 983 N07725 Type 1 Heat Treatments
- Recommended solution annealing treatment: 1040 ± 14°C (1900 ± 25°F), hold 1h per 25.4 mm of thickness, water quench or rapid air/gas cool;
Recommended precipitation hardening treatment: 730 ± 14°C (1350 ± 25°F), hold 8 h, furnace cool at 56°C (100°F) per minut to 620 ± 14°C (1150 ± 25°F), hold for 8h, air cool.
