DIN NiCr20TiAl Heat Treatments
- (+AT+P) Solution annealed: 1050-1080°C, cooled in air, Precipitation hardened: 840-860°C (24h), air cooled + 690-710°C (16h), air cooled.
- Hot forming: 1150-1050°C;
Hardening, quenching or solution annealing (cooling in air): 1050-1080°C, 8h;
Tempering or age hardening or precipitation hardening: 840-860°C, 24 h/air and 690 to 710°C, 16 h/air;
The complete, three-stage heat-treatment should be carried out after the last plastic forming operation (e.g. after thread rolling).
