ISO NiCr20TiAl Heat Treatments
- For guidance only: Precipitation hardening (+P): 1065 ± 15°C; Cooling: air; In the case where the heat treatment is performed in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the given temperature range, or even a temperature in excess of it, is normally preferred; Tempering or precipitation treatment: 840-860°C (24h - recommended time), air cool + 690-710°C (16h - recommended time), air cooling.
- Hot forming 1150-1050°C; Quenching (air or water) or solution heat treatment 1000-1080°C; Tempering or artificial ageing 690-710 °C (16h, air).
