UNI P-AC4.4SMG Heat Treatments
- R: Complete annealing at 390 - 420 °C for 2 - 4 hours with slow cooling in oven (max 20°C/h until 250 °C); TN: Water quenching (10 - 30°C) from 490 - 505°C, after preheating for 0.5 - 1 hour in salt-bath; natural ageing (max 50°C) for 48 - 96 hours; THN: as per TN, with ironing after tempering that produces a slight hardening; TA: Water quenching (10 - 30°C) from 490 - 505°C, after preheating for 0.5 - 1 hour in salt bath; artificial ageing at 165 - 185°C for 8 - 12 hours; Hot working range: 260 - 480°C;
