B.S. TA 57 Heat Treatments
- Heat at a temperature of 900 ± 10 °C and hold for 1 h·per 25 mm of section, with a minimum of 20 min. Cool in air. Heat at a temperature of 500 ± 5 °C and hold for 24 h. Cool in air.
