ASTM B 805 N07716 Heat Treatments
- Bars - Solution treatment shall consist of heating the material to temperature in the range from 1010 to 1065°C (1850 to 1950°F), followed by rapid cooling. Aging treatment consists of 732°C (1350°F) for 8 h followed by furnace cooling from 621 to 649°C (1150 to 1200°F), holding 8 h, and air cooling.
Wire - shall be supplied in the solution treated and cold finished condition.
