B.S. Ti-6Al-4V Heat Treatments
- Annealed (A): heated within range 690 - 840°C for minimum 30 min., air cooling or inert atmosphere.
- Annealed: 690°C <= θ <= 840°C / t >= 30min, air cooled or cooled in inert atmosphere; If after annealing, any straightening or streching operations are performed on extruded sections below 550°C, the sections shall be stress relieved by heating to a temperature 550°C <= θ <= 700°C / t >= 30min, air cooled or cooled in inert atmosphere.
