GOST AL9 Heat Treatments
- T5 - Hardening and short (incomplete) artificial aging, heating temperature at 535 +/-5°C, 2 - 7h, and cooling in water at 20-100°C, aging 150 +/- 5°C, 1 - 3h;
T2 - Aging 300 +/- 10°C, 2 - 4h;
T4 - Solution heat treated and naturally aged (T4), heating temperature at 535 +/-5°C, 2 - 6h, and cooling in water at 20-100°C;
T5 - Hardening and short (incomplete) artificial aging, heating temperature at 535 +/-5°C, 2 - 6h, and cooling in water at 20-100°C, aging 150 +/- 5°C, 1 - 3h
