PROPRIETARY Alloy 316L Heat Treatments
- All material shall be refined by Argon OxygenDecarburisation or equivalent. Solution treatment shall be carried out at a temperature above 1040°C. This will be followed by immediate water quench.
- Hot forgings deformation: 900-1200°C
Solution annealing (water, air): 1000-1120°C
