PROPRIETARY Acidur 4016 Heat Treatments
- Annealed by holding in the temperature range 750 - 850 °C, followed by cooling in air.
- The heat treatment, which makes this steel particularly soft, consists of holding At temperatures between 750°C - 850°C with subsequent air cooling. In doing so, 850°C can not be exceeded, since this grade is sensitive to embrittlement by grain growth.
