AFCEN Z12 C 13 Heat Treatments
- Quenching in oil or water + polymer with an austenitizing temperature between 950°C and 1000°C, followed by tempering at a temperature of > 600°C and air or water cooling. In addition, the shafts undergo stabilizing heat treatment at a temperature at least 25°C less than the minimum tempering temperature.
