PROPRIETARY 1.3344 HTM (23) Heat Treatments
- Normalised to 880°C, 5 - 9h, cooled in the oven at 10K/h to 500°C, then cooled in air. Stress-relieve annealed to 650°C for 2h, slowly cooled to 500°C and the cooled in air. Quenched in oil, air or gas, liquid at 500 - 550°C. Heat treatment 1: Hardened at 1150°C. Tempered at 520°C. Heat treatment 2: Hardened at 1180°C. Tempered at 540°C.
