- Annealing: normalizing at 830°C to 860°C in air, annealing at 620°C to 650°C in furnace and carburizing 870°C to 900°C; Hardening: hardening core at 830°C to 860°C in oil, intermediate annealing at 600°C to 630°C, edge hardening at 790°C to 810°C oil, relax from 150°C to 210°C.
