PROPRIETARY 17-4 PH Heat Treatments


  • Condition A: Solution treated at 1038°C ± 14°C (1900°F ± 25°F), 0.5 h Oil, water+polymer or air cooled below 32°C (90°F).
    Condition H 900: Heated to 482°C (900°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 1h, air cooled.
    Condition H 925: Heated to 496°C (925°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
    Condition H 1025: Heated to 552°C (1025°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
    Condition H 1075: Heated to 579°C (1075°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
    Condition H 1100: Heated to 593°C (1100°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
    Condition H 1150: Heated to 621°C (1150°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
    Condition H 1150-D: Heated to 621°C (1150°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled, followed by heating to 621°C (1150°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
    Condition H 1150-M: Heated to 760°C (1400°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 2h, air cooled followed by heating to 621°C (1150°F) ± 9°C (15°F) for 4h, air cooled.
