PROPRIETARY Cryodur 2379 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: 830-860°C, cooling: furnace 7°C/hour to 649°C then air cool. Stress relief: 649-699°C, cooling: hold time 2 hours, slowly cool to 499°C, then air cool.
- Soft annealing: 830-860°C, cooling: furnace. Stress-relief annealing: 650-700°C, cooling: furnace. Hardening: 1000-1050°C, Quenching: air, oil or saltbath, 500-550°C.
