GB Cr12Mo1V1 Heat Treatments
- Pre-heated at 800-850°C, quenched in the range 980-1050 °C, in air or high pressure nitrogen gas, tempered in the range 194-206°C/2h (The tempered could be double or triple /2 h each)
- Preheat at 820°C ± 15°C; heat to 980°C - 1030°C, hold for 10 - 20 minutes, air cool. Temper once at 200°C ± 6°C for 2 hours.
