ASME SA-213 T24 Heat Treatments
- Normalize and temper; Austenitizing/Solutioning temperature 980 - 1020°C (1800 - 1870°F).
Accelerated cooling from the normalizing temperature shall be permitted for section thicknesses greater than 75 mm.
Tempering temperature 730 - 770°C (1350 - 1420°F).
