ASTM A 213 Grade T24 Heat Treatments
- Normalize and temper; Austenitizing/Solutioning/Stabilizing temperature: 980 - 1020°C (1800 - 1870°F); Accelerated cooling from the normalizing temperature shall be permitted for section thicknesses greater than 75 mm; Subcritical annealing or Tempering temperature, range: 730 - 770°C (1350 - 1420°F).
