- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Normalized at min 900°C (1650°F), air cooled; Tempered at min. 595°C (1100°F).
Quenched at min 900°C (1650°F), accelerated air cooled or liquid quenched; Tempered at min. 595°C (1100°F).
