PROPRIETARY C60E Heat Treatments
- Hot-forming at 1050 to 850°C.
Normalizing (+N) at 860°C, air.
Quenching at 830°C in water or Quenching at 850°C in oil or polymer.
Tempering at 550 to 650°C, air.
Stress-relieving, 50° under the temperature of tempering.
Soft annealing (+A) at 700°C. air.
Isothermal annealing at 780°C, furnace cooling to 670°C, than air.
End quench hardenability at 830°C, water.
Mechanical properties at different tempering temperatures obtained after quenching at 830°C in water.
