- Hot-forming at 1050 to 850°C.
Normalizing at 870°C, air.
Quenching on spring at 830 to 860°C, oil or polymer.
Tempering 430 to 480°C, air.
Hot moulding of springs at 920 to 830°C.
Soft annealing 680°C, air.
Isothermal annealing at 820°C, furnace cooling to 720°C, than air.
End quench hardenability at 850°C, water.
Mechanical properties at different tempering temperatures obtained after quenching at 850°C in oil.
