GB S42040 Heat Treatments
- Annealed at 800 - 900°C, slow cooled or at 750°C, fast cooled.
- Annealing at 750°C, rapid cooling (or at 800 to 900°C, cold cooling);
Hardening at 1050 to 1100°C, oil cooling;
Tempering at 200 to 300°C, air cooling.
