UNI X20CrMoV11-1 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing and tempering (+NT): 1020-1080°C, air cooling. Tempering: 730-780°C, air cooling. It may be necessary in the case of wall thickness T above 10 mm or T/D > 0.15 to apply quenching and tempering in order to achieve the intended structure and material properties.
- Quenched and tempered (+QT): 1020 to 1070°C, cooled in oil, air and polymer. Tempered at 730-780°C, cooled in air or furnace.
