ISO SS Type 9 Heat Treatments
- Bars, forgings and wire rods:
Solution treated (ST-1): 1050 ± 15°C, cool in air.
Precipitation hardened (R113): 850 ± 10°C for 2 h, cool in air, plus 450 ± 10°C for 2 h, cool in air.
Precipitation hardened (R093): 750 ± 10°C for 2 h, cool in air, plus 540 ± 10°C for 2 h, cool in air.
Solution treated (ST-2): 950 ± 15°C, cool in air.
Precipitation hardened (R127): 450 ± 10°C for 2 h, cool in air.
