SAE Greek Ascoloy Heat Treatments
- Heat treated by heating to 982 ± 14°C (1800 ± 25°F), holding at heat for 15 to 30 minutes, and cooling at a rate equivalent to an air cool or faster.
- Heated to 954 ± 6°C (1750 ± 10°F), held at heat for 25 - 30 minutes, and quenched in commercial paraffin oil (approximately 100 SUS at 38°C (100°F)) at room temperature.
