PN 60 Heat Treatments
- Wrought steel: Heated at 1050-850°C, softened at 650-700°C and normalized at 820-860°C. Hardened at 800-840°C, center zone cooled in oil or water, than tempered at 550-660°C. These face of test sample hardened in the range of 830°C+/-5.
